Stewardship means the management or care of what God has entrusted to us, individually, and collectively, as a community of faith.

Our Genesee Valley District Stewardship Team has identified our church as one of two on the district that they would like to pilot a new approach regarding enhancing local church stewardship.

Working with our district superintendent, the Rev. Ted Anderson, and our pastor, the Rev. Todd Goddard, this first event has been scheduled as a time of assessment. Two members of the District Stewardship Team will meet with church leaders to ask questions and listen for our responses regarding our church's finance and stewardship.  

A second visit will be scheduled for these two consultants to return and offer insight, resources, and experience that may lead to our greater stewardship health. 

While leaders are invited and encouraged to attend, this is an open gathering. All members and friends of the East Rochester UMC are welcome to attend and participate.
