Learn from the Doctor who teaches Doctors!

The community is invited to attend a free educational event titled “Aging, Caregiving, and Talking with Your Doctor” led by Dr. Thomas Caprio from the University of Rochester Medical Center. It will take place on December 4th, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the East Rochester United Methodist Church located at 357 Fairport Road.

Dr. Caprio leads the Geriatric Residency program at Monroe Community Hospital, teaching new doctors how to care for elderly patients and their caregivers.

Dr. Caprio is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Nursing, in both the Department of Medicine, Geriatrics/Aging and the Department of Public Health Sciences. Dr. Caprio specializes in Internal, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Caprio is also the Medical Director for Visiting Nurse Service.
